A wedding gone wrong. A shattered concert. An afternoon karaoke matchmaking battle. An "I will always love you" - but not really.
On 11 October, Korzo becomes a strange party where romance, music, performance, karaoke, flirting, and things slowly falling apart come together for one afternoon.
Expect flowers, music you know but transformed, strangers, declarations, and the gradual deterioration of what was supposed to be a pretty ceremony.
Somewhere between the first drink and the final song, you might meet your soulmate or your next wrong decision. They might stay a stranger. They might be your karaoke partner. They might be someone you'll divorce 10 years later.
There will be a duet karaoke battle in the middle of our event, pairing people together and throwing them into unexpected musical situations. Every duet gets a small prize, but one winning duet takes home the big prize.
And if none of that sounds like your thing, that's fine. Come just to watch it all unfold in real time, instead of watching it in a movie. There will be local Zendayas and Robert Pattinson vibes for sure.
💍 Laurence Gaudreau brings us a wedding that has already started to fall apart, with a deconstructed cello performance unfolding in two chapters: an entrance, and whatever remains at the end.
🎤 DIORA will guide you through the ceremony, introduce the performances, flirt with you, roast you, and generally try to prevent this wedding from becoming completely unmanageable.
💋 Drek Manor will bring the drag, the melodrama, and presumably some consequences.

This event is presented as a part of Rizoom’s ‘Gen Z Cultural Changemakers’ program. Korzo is one of the partnering organisations behind Rizoom, an initiative which connects nationwide venues, festivals and other organisations with young creatives in music and sound through research trajectories. In this program, a team of 3 Gen Z artists and cultural organisers (Aslı Nur Mahmutoğlu, Zeynep Burça Oral and Silva Westera), experiment with curating new presentation formats and experiences for their own peers.
Laurence Gaudreau is a French-Canadian cellist, composer and improviser based in the Netherlands. Her work bridges classical, experimental, pop, and electronic music, exploring more fluid, expressive forms of musical experiences. She is a founding member of the Flare Quartet, the electroacoustic duo TIDE and the experimental early music duo Miss Mazzy & LAURENCE. She is also a member of the 1781 Collective (Berlin) and the European Music Collective.
DIORA is a DJ, multidisciplinary artist, event organizer and hostess whose presence has become synonymous with Amsterdam’s nightlife. Known by many as the Princess of Amsterdam in the queer underground, she has spent years working behind the doors of some of the city’s most vibrant clubs, becoming a familiar and magnetic figure within its nocturnal landscape. Her larger-than-life personality, sharp intuition and instinct for connection have made her as recognisable on the dancefloor as she is behind the decks.
With roots in Cape Town and a current base in Amsterdam, DIORA moves fluidly between music, performance, curation and creative direction. Her DJ sets traverse deconstructed club, techno, trance and experimental sounds, weaving together moments of tension, euphoria and release. Beyond DJing, she creates spaces that centre underrepresented voices and foster freedom of expression. DIORA’s work is ultimately about building worlds: immersive, inclusive environments where music, identity, art and community converge.
DREK MANOR is a queer performance collective that doesn't tame drag, but stretches it into something that grates and seduces. From polished drag queens to hunky kings and experimental creatures: DREK embraces messiness as queer radicality. At the intersection of theater and night, a practice emerges where presence is everything. Lipsyncs, bizarre acts, and unforgettable appearances leave you slightly disrupted and hungry for more.
