The Body as Ear

Body as Ear takes you on a journey that changes your pace and sharpens your senses. With performances and installations, iii (instrument inventors initiative) transforms all four different spaces of Korzo (Foyer, Studio, Club & Zaal) into a ritual of slowing down. Moving you beyond hearing alone, this evening opens your ears through dripping rain on paper, shifts your perception with resonating bells and rotating speakers, and faces you with performers who fill their lungs in search for connection.

‘Breathe in, breathe out’ is this evening’s harmonizing premise, guiding you to tune into your body in our increasingly competitive and overstimulating world.

iii is a Hague-based platform run by artists exploring the boundaries between performance, technology, and human perception. In their work, art, science, and technology flow together, always with the human being at the center. In collaboration with partners in the Netherlands and abroad, iii opens doors to surprising performances, installations, and encounters that expand perception and stimulate the senses.
